  • Sunglasses with 100% UVA & UVB protection.

Where to be

  • We are located in Rhoda's Boathouse, at Meaford Harbour. Look for our fleet of sailboats on the docks.
  • Attendance is taken every morning upon arrival.  Make sure to check-In your child with a Coach or Volunteer every morning.
  • There are two pick-up times for parents to pick up their children:  at noon during the lunch break and at the end of the day, at 4 pm. We cannot accommodate pick-ups at any other time of the day unless it is an emergency.
  • If your child will be late, they must be dropped off during the lunch break 12-1 pm, we cannot accommodate other drop-off times.
  • Sail Georgian Bay club house will be restricted to the staff and athletes attending that week.
  • Meetings for new parents, sailors or others who are not sailing will be conducted outside.
  • Parents, guardians and other spectators are encouraged to watch from the breakwall.

Arrival and Departure

  •  Sailing starts at 9 am sharp. It would be wise to be there a few minutes early so you can check-in for attendance with the coaches, store your backpack and get ready for your lesson. The sailing instructors open up the boat house around 8:45 am.
  • Sailing ends at 4 pm. If students need to leave at the lunch break, their parents must inform the coaches in the morning
  • Students may not leave the boathouse area during lunch unless they have a written note from a parent or guardian.
  • Please call or email the school if your child will be late or absent for any reason.
