Qori Aparicio - Head Coach
I am thrilled to be returning to SGB for my third year as an instructor, and second year as Head Coach. I've been at SGB since 2019, and excitedly anticipate the sailing season every year. Outside of sailing I enjoy art and reading, and am studying journalism in university.

I have been sailing at SGB since 2019 and this year will be my second year coaching. When I'm not sailing I like playing volleyball. I am so excited to coach and have fun with all the sailors joining us this summer!

Izzy (Isabel) Spence
2026 will be my second year as an instructor at SGB. I have been around sailboats for as long as I can remember, starting with my dad who brought me around in his boat in New Zealand. From a very young age, I developed a strong connection to the water, and that passion only grew as I began taking lessons at SGB once I moved to Canada. I love the feeling of being out on the water and using something as simple and powerful as the wind to move. Sailing continues to challenge me in the best way, and it’s a sport that brings me so much happiness. My goal for new sailors is to show them how much fun sailing can be, and foster an exciting and positive atmosphere.

I’ve been sailing at SGB since I was 8 years old. I look forward to my second year as an instructor at SGB, in 2026. Outside of sailing, I enjoy playing club volleyball in Toronto and skiing. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and having a fun season on the water!☀️🌊
